Free Styling Tips For
All Curl Types!

Read the descriptions below for wavy, curly, and super curly/tight coiled hair to determine which curl type you are..and I'll send you the exact tips that are right for you!

FREE Styling Tips for
Wavies

Wavy Hair falls in an ’s’ pattern, sometimes ending in a curl but the majority of the hair is in an ’s’ pattern from root to ends. Some may have several ‘s’ shapes, or only a few. This hair type is also very easy to straighten, which is why some people don't realize they have wavy hair. If someone has to use a flat iron or curling iron to “smooth” their hair, they're definitely a wavy!

FREE Styling Tips for
Curlies

Curly Hair falls into clumps of full rotational curls, around the size of sidewalk chalk to the size of large Crayola markers. This hair remains curly throughout the whole hair shaft, through all seasons and may appear shorter or longer depending on the weather and climate. It has a fairly good recoil when someone chooses to pull on it, as they always want to!

FREE Styling Tips for
Super Curlies

Super Curly Hair falls into clumps of small curls that rotate and kink (‘S’ and ‘Z’ shapes) more like the size of skinny Crayola markers and continuing down to where the curls are the size of the tip of a pen. The tighter versions of these curls are often referred to as kinky or tight coils. Length retention is always a challenge.
